"As the girls return to normal family life and the kids go back to school they are reviewing all the options. Who knows what the future might bring."

Spice Girls ’get £10m each’ - Jan 24 2008

The Spice Girls have pocketed £10 million each for their 17-night run at London’s O2 Arena, it has been claimed.

The girl band played their final gig at the former Millennium Dome last night and their sell-out tour has now moved to Manchester.

All have insisted they did not get back together for the money.

But an O2 Centre source said the five - Emma Bunton, Mel B, Mel C, Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham - have made £50 million between them.

That eclipses any other star who has performed at the venue.

"Barbra Streisand had high ticket prices but only did three nights while Prince did 21 nights but sold tickets for next to nothing.

"Not many groups can sell out 17 gigs at £75 a ticket, it’s quite an achievement," the source told the Evening Standard.

Geri, aka Ginger Spice, recently claimed the comeback tour had nothing to do with money.

"The truth of the matter is, to put on this tour has cost £18.6 million," she said.

"We have done this purely to celebrate our fans, the music and ourselves. This is not a money-making expedition. It really isn’t. Hopefully we will break even but it has never been about that."

Fashion gets touch of Spice - Jan 15 2008

The Spice Girls have pepped up the Milan fashion scene after they turned up at Roberto Cavalli’s menswear show to thank him for designing their return tour wardrobe.

Taking a break from the tour which began in December, bringing all the group’s members together for the first time in nearly 10 years, they had nothing but good things to say about Roberto and Italian men in general.

"His clothes make you feel sexy," said Geri Halliwell, speaking for the group as they sat backstage on leopard-printed chairs.

Talking all at once like a gaggle of school girls, the five sang the praises of Italian men as "very passionate" and "more stylish" than their British counterparts. "Italians are stallions," said Mel B, quickly adding, "or so I’ve heard".

The visit came after Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, was named the worst dressed woman by fashion critic Mr Blackwell.

Spice babies hit the stage - Dec 19 2007

The Spice Girls made it a family affair when they brought their children on stage in the middle of their show.

The assorted brood joined the group during hit song Mama at London’s O2 Arena last night (Tuesday).

And the audience were left in no doubt as to the star of the show - Victoria Beckham decked out her boys, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz in matching T-shirts emblazoned with the words ’POSH’.

Baby Spice Emma Bunton cuddled four-month-old son Beau, while Mel B brought along daughters Phoenix Chi and Angel Iris.

The children wore bright green ear muffs to protect them against the noise.

Geri Halliwell’s daughter Bluebell was the only Spice offspring missing.

At the end of the song, the children returned to their seats in the front row.

The group are playing 17 dates at the London venue as part of their comeback tour.

As with Saturday’s opening gig, the audience last night screamed the loudest whenever Posh Spice Victoria sang a solo line. The famously po-faced star told them: "Thank you - you’ve almost made me smile."
