Peaches Geldof has apparently denied rumours that she is engaged to her latest boyfriend - despite sporting a diamond ring on her engagement finger.

The 18-year-old socialite was recently spotted on a night out in London showing off her latest tattoo which reads 'Ex Valentine' as well as the jewel-encrusted sparkler, reports the Daily Mail.

But Peaches was quoted as saying: "The ring was a gift, not from someone I am engaged to - I am 18. It is from someone I like very much. From a boyfriend. I know there might be speculation, but I am definitely not engaged - I'm 18."

Peaches is reportedly dating musician Joe Lean after she split from 20-year-old Fred Les in November.

The DJ, who was snapped partying at London club Sketch, recently took part in Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack with her best pal Fifi Brown, where they started a battle of the bands in the house.

Peaches and Fifi Geldof have backed John, Nathan and Jeremy to win Big Brother after they hijacked the show.

The girls, who nicknamed themselves the ’Trash Pussies’, divided the house in a battle of the bands at the weekend, which pitted Emo against New Rave.

They said: "We like John. We’d like him to win. If he doesn’t it would be nice for Nathan to win. Also Jeremy is really hot. When he got his Emo clothes on and picked up a guitar he looked really hot."

The Celebrity Hijack house was also taken over by ex-SAS man Andy McNab, who literally hijacked Amy and Anthony in Operation Zero.

The pair were driven around in the back of a van for 40 minutes to disorientate them and then interrogated by Andy’s associates, who tried to get them to reveal a secret code.

Amy refused to give in, but Anthony caved when the masked thugs told him Amy had already given them half the code. For her efforts, Amy won immunity from eviction and a £5,000 prize - plus the opportunity to give another housemate immunity. She picked Anthony.

As the loser, Anthony had to chose one housemate to automatically be put up for eviction. He picked Victor, saying he had survived one week already and must have a big fanbase.

Boxer Anthony is now the 8/11 favourite to win the show.

Christmas at the Geldofs - Dec 20 2007
Peaches Geldof has apparently lifted the lid on Christmas in the Geldof home, saying her grumpy dad Bob can be quite a scrooge when it comes to presents.

The 18-year-old DJ reportedly said her rocker dad, 59, who has raised millions for the world’s poorest people through his Live Aid gigs, sometimes buys her gifts from the pound shop.

Peaches told The Sun: "In my family you have to accept what you’re given. Last year my father got me an inflatable monkey and that was it. One year he did just give me coal in my stocking."

And it seems during Christmas dinner, Bob will yell at the family if they don’t eat all their meal.

Peaches apparently revealed: "At Christmas dinner if I leave something on my plate he goes, ’Peaches, remember the f****** Africans’."

The blonde party girl told the paper she would be spending Christmas at her grandfather’s house this year and that her dad would probably treat them to a rendition of some of his Boomtown Rats hits."
