She filed for divorce from Salomon in December, citing irreconcilable differences, only to retract the divorce days later.

In her first online blog of the New Year, she penned: "I know 2008 will bring all your wildest dreams. 2007 was an interesting year for me. What’s the definition of insanity?

"This is the year I do everything I wanted to do - my way. I have so many great projects - for the environment, for animals. I’m going to be proud of every single day - and make sure I do not veer from the path. Stay focused."

The 40-year-old former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson has filed for divorce from her 38-year-old husband, Rick Salomon, after just two months of marriage.

Anderson cited irreconcilable differences in papers filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court. The documents were obtained by the celebrity Web site CelebTV.com.

Anderson and Salomon wed on October 6 in Las Vegas during a break between shows of Hans Klok’s The Beauty of Magic at the Planet Hollywood resort, where Anderson was starring as a magician’s assistant.

The couple separated less than 10 weeks later, on December 13.

Salomon is best known for making a sex videotape with Paris Hilton, his girlfriend at the time, and was previously married to actress Shannen Doherty.

Anderson was previously married to singer Kid Rock and Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee.

"I’m the happiest I’ve ever been," she told USA Today.

"We’re good for each other. He knows about all my stuff, and I know all his. We’ve always rooted for each other."

The blonde actress also dismissed questions that she’d rushed into marriage with Rick, saying: "Nah. I make all of my decisions in about five minutes."

And it seems Pammie harbours no resentment to either of her previous husbands.

"Look, I wish them all well. I’m moving forward with my life," she is quoted as saying.

The former Baywatch star is currently based both in Malibu, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, where she assists Hans Klok in his magic show.

"My kids, they’re kind of scared of him," she said of Hans, "because he might make them disappear!"

It seems Pamela Anderson isn’t going to play the fame game for too much longer. The former Baywatch babe has apparently said she is bowing out of the spotlight and heading back to Canada in 2012.

"Five more years and I’ll go back to Canada," the 40-year-old told USA Today. "I’ve got some land. It’ll be time."

The actress, who is currently assisting Dutch magician Hans Klok in his Las Vegas Beauty of Magic Show, said she’s less in the spotlight nowadays due to her desire to spend time with kids 11-year-old Brandon and nine-year-old Dylan - and partly to pure laziness.

"I get offers to do movies and TV all the time," she said. "I say no to everything. Drives my agent crazy. But I’m lazy. I don’t want to work. I want to be with my kids. So, I just fly in from LA, do a few days of shows and go back home."
