The newlyweds looked relaxed and happy as they posed for cameras arm-in-arm.
The 32-year-old comedian wore an exotic Aladdin’s costume with pink plumes, gold spangled trousers and a bolero jacket while McGee was dressed as Prince Charming.
Guests included Courtney Love who was dressed as the Queen of Hearts in a blood-red gown.
EastEnders bad-boy Steve McFadden turned up as the Demon Prince accompanied by his on-screen-mother Barbara Windsor as the Fairy Godmother.
Lucas’s comedy partner David Walliams arrived as Christopher Biggins in a blue and yellow Billy Bunter-style blazer and comic Paul O’Grady was dressed as Captain Hook.
Singer Will Young went as an Ugly Sister and Vic Reeves’ wife Nancy Sorrell drew admiring applause from the crowd as a cheeky Bo Peep in a saucy short skirt and knee-high socks.
Sir Elton John and David Furnish, who entered into a civil partnership earlier this year, turned out as Captain Hook and Prince Charming.
Little Britain star Lucas ties knot - Dec 17 2006
Little Britain star Matt Lucas has "tied the knot" with his long-term partner.
Lucas and TV Producer Kevin McGee entered into a civil partnership at a ceremony at the private member’s club Home House in Central London.
The pair posed for crowds after the low-key ceremony.
Wearing a dark blue velvet cord suit and rose pattern tie, the comic appeared happy but nervous.
He refused to answer the barrage of questions about the big day, but thanked his well-wishers.
His partner, McGee, wore a dark grey suit with black piping. The couple held hands for the cameras.
Celebrity guests included Dale Winton, comic Rob Brydon, and Little Britain co-star David Walliams.
The ceremony was followed with a reception at Banqueting House in Whitehall.
Guests are to follow a pantomime theme.
Lucas, 32, said: "I like dressing up, I’m quite a preppy, dull dresser in my life, so it’s a chance for me to be a bit more outrageous."

At the age of eighteen Lucas began his comedy career, taking his character Sir Bernard Chumley (a character who would later appear on Little Britain) to the stage. Spotted in 1992 by Bob Mortimer he was soon a regular fixture on The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer, followed by Shooting Stars, playing George Dawes.
In 1999 Lucas hooked up with friend David Walliams to produce Rock Profiles, a series of popstar spoofs. Not long afterwards the duo were offered a Radio 4 slot for their new creation, Little Britain. In 2003 the show transferred to BBC 3, quickly becoming a comedy phenomenon and being promoted to BBC One in 2004.
Between chuckles Lucas has taken on various acting roles including that of Leigh Bowery in Boy George’s musical Taboo, a venetian duke in Casanova and Sir Oswald in Plunkett and Maclean. He is now set to release a charity single alongside Peter Kay in 2007.
He was joined to partner, television producer Kevin McGee, in a 2006 civil partnership.
