Jodie Marsh has taken over from Denise Van Outen as Britain’s most notorious Essex girl. She was born in 1979 or 1980 (no one knows for sure!) and, surprisingly to some, she left school with eleven GCSEs and three A Levels. Bullied at school after a hockey accident left her with a wonky nose Jodie intended to study law at university but instead got a nose job and shot to fame in TV documentary Essex Wives.

She soon became a media icon, appearing on Page 3 time and time again and stripping off in front of the cameras as well as challenging fellow glamour girl Jordan’s status with a very public feud. Since the Essex Wives documentary Jodie has appeared on C4’s The Games as well as E4’s Fool Around With…she now plans to release an autobiography which will feature details of her past relationships – some of which we’ve apparently yet to hear of.
