Dressed in a dazzling silk teal Marchesa dress that showed off her growing belly and high heels, she wowed the fashion crowd at the Marchesa fashion show.

"I’m feeling good!" the nine-months-pregnant star, who was with husband Marc Anthony, told People.com.

"Right now, the best thing I can do for myself, for my body, is to keep resting, which is not easy for me. I like keeping busy and it’s very hard, because if they say, ’Be off your feet for four hours a day’, I’m like, ’Oh God!’ It’s hard."

Jen reveals: "I haven’t gone out a lot for the past few months, but Marchesa has been incredibly good to me. They are just amazing!"

And the ever-glamorous singer-actress admits dressing down is not an option for her, even as a mum-to-be.

"People make fun of me because when I do have them over to my house, I do have a dress on," she reveals.

"I don’t like the way the sweats look with the extra weight. I like to feel good about myself, even at home."

Jennifer Lopez’s father has apparently confirmed she is expecting twins.

According to People.com, David Lopez revealed rumours that the Do It Well singer and husband Marc Anthony are having twins are true during an interview US Spanish-language show Escándalo TV.

David told the station: "Yes, twins. The thing is in my family, my sister also had twins, so it’s a hereditary thing.

"I’m very proud. Jennifer has yearned to be a mother for many years."

The 38-year-old singer is rumoured to be expecting a boy and girl, allegedly conceived through IVF treatment.

Her father also revealed he has already bought gifts for his new grandchildren - black stone bracelets in keeping with his Puerto Rican heritage.

He said: "In Puerto Rico it’s custom to buy an azabache bracelet for babies to protect them from the evil eye, it’s part of our culture."

And according to America’s Star magazine, Jennifer’s mother, Guadalupe, has also bought bracelets for the twins which apparently reveal the names the singer has chosen for her babies.

A source told the magazine: "The day before J.Lo’s baby shower, Guadalupe picked up two gold-rope baby ID bracelets engraved with the names Max and Emme from a jewellers in New York."

Mum-to-be Jennifer Lopez celebrated her pregnancy with a baby shower in New York.

The 38-year-old and her husband Marc Anthony both attended the afternoon shower on the rooftop of the luxurious Gramercy Park Hotel, which was hosted by Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, J-Lo’s producer on 2002’s Maid In Manhattan.

An eyewitness who saw the couple arrive, flanked by bodyguards, told People.com that Jennifer looked "very pretty, and very pregnant".

And according to the website, there was no hint as to what gender the star’s baby would be, as the area was decked out in both blue and pink, and covered with Swarovski crystal.

Guests included couture designer Roberto Cavalli, who brought the happy couple a pink leopard crib, and actress Leah Remini.

J-Lo is keeping tight-lipped about her bundle of joy, and there is some speculation that she may be expecting twins.

Last month, her sister Lynda apparently gave her matching blue and pink babygros, which added to the stories.

The star recently told Harper’s Bazaar: "I’m just feeling too protective to open that door right now. I do realise people want to know because they’re interested, but this is the first time I’m going through this.
