Jennifer Aniston has apparently frozen her eggs so she can have a baby when she finally finds Mr Right.

The 39-year-old actress - whose ex-husband Brad Pitt now has four children with Angelina Jolie and she is pregnant again - is single and according to the Daily Star is desperate to have child of her own.

A source said: "It was a really smart move because it buys Jen a few years to figure it all out.

"The pressure has lifted. In her heart Jen would like to have her own child. She just needs the right man - someone she can trust."

The insider claims the former Friends star may wait until 45 to have a baby, and ensures she is in peak physical fitness thanks to regular workout and yoga session and a strict diet.

The source apparently added: "She has loads of energy. And she's so rich she could just hire five nannies."

Jennifer has considered adopting in the past.

A spokesman for the actress reportedly confirmed she will use the frozen eggs if she has any trouble conceiving naturally.

Jen celebrates in style - Feb 14 2008
Although she had to celebrate her 39th birthday while on the Vancouver set of romantic drama Traveling, Jennifer Aniston managed to do it in style.

People.com reports that the former Friends actress received a giant ice cream cake on Monday, before the cast and crew gathered around and sang Happy Birthday. "There were hugs and kisses for everyone," said a source, who added that several large flower arrangements were also delivered to Jennifer’s trailer.

The website reports that Jen had also managed to have another bash a couple of days earlier, when she and 20 pals took over the private room of Cioppino’s Mediterranean Grill for a dinner party.

"Everyone ordered so many dishes," said an observer. "They tried everything. They were just having such a good time."

The party went on until 2.30am, after another cake was wheeled out.

"Jennifer looked a little surprised, but it was her birthday party, after all," said the witness. "She had a really good time with all of her friends - and seemingly didn’t want the evening to end."

Jennifer Aniston is rumoured to be stepping out with a hot new man - Sex And The City hunk Jason Lewis.

America’s Star reports that Jen has hooked up with the actor, who played Samantha’s toyboy Smith Jerrod in the final seasons of the hit US show.

Jennifer and Jason - who used to date Sin City star Rosario Dawson - have apparently been dating since November.

The mag reports that the pair first met a few years ago and have reportedly now reconnected after being encouraged by friends.

A source is quoted by the magazine as saying: "Mutual friends at the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital charity (which Jen is a spokesperson for) thought Jen and Jason would make a great couple, so they started emailing. After their first date, they began seeing each other non-stop."

Jennifer and Jason have not confirmed whether they are an item.

She may portray the girl-next-door but Jennifer Aniston has admitted how she has become a hard nut.

"I used to care a hell of a lot more about what people said or thought," she says in the November issue of Harper’s Bazaar, referring to her split from ex-husband Brad Pitt.

"But that had to change when my life was under a microscope being scrutinised and my personal life was being talked about. You have to go, ’This is not acceptable in any way’, whether it’s about me personally or in business, success versus failure."

Biography

Jennifer Joanne Aniston was born on February 11th 1969 in Los Angeles, California to actor parents John and Nancy Dow, although she spent much of her childhood in New York city when her father was working in Soap Opera. In 1987 she attended New York’s Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, where she was a member of the drama club. Her drive for success and reputation as an actress was strengthened as she started working in Off-Broadway productions.

Recognised as a talented comedy actress, she began working on the Howard Stern Radio Show in the 80’s and 90’s, before moving to Hollywood and launching a career in television. There were several false starts as shows were cancelled, and her appearance in the horror movie ’Leprechaun’ attracted so much critical derision that she seriously considered giving up acting.

Cue Friends, for which she auditioned in 1994. The producers originally wanted her to audition for the role of Monica Geller, but she managed to persuade them that her talents would be far better used in the role of Rachel Green. She ended up playing the character for ten years, between 1994 and 2004. So successful was the show and so well loved was her character that during the final three seasons she commanded a fee of one million dollars per episode. The critics, once cruel, were now united in praise, and she was nominated five times for an Emmy award including Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.

Since then she has been in several major Hollywood features, although she has not yet made a hit film.

Aniston’s acting talents rest upon an "everygirl" persona. This perhaps explains why the media has always taken an interest in her personal life. She previously dated Adam Duritz and actor Tate Donovan before beginning a long-term relationship with Brad Pitt. They were married in 2000. The pair divorced in spectacular fashion in 2005, with many in the press suspecting infidelity on Pitt’s part and Aniston’s refusal to have children as causes (She has since strongly denied that she doesn’t want children). She has remained tight lipped about her personal life ever since.
