Geri is delighted being pregnant - Oct 26, 2005
Geri Halliwell’s brother has revealed his sister is "delighted" being pregnant. Although the former Spice Girl has refused to confirm she is expecting scriptwriter Sacha Gervasi’s baby, her older brother, Max, has admitted she is thrilled at the prospect of becoming a mother. He revealed: "She is absolutely delighted. I haven’t seen her for a few months as she has been in the States, but we’re looking forward to getting together to celebrate the news."
Geri, who is said to be three months pregnant, has reportedly split from Sacha, who wrote the Tom Hanks film ’The Terminal’, but he recently vowed to support her and the baby. He said: "I fully intend to give Geri and the baby all the love and support they need."
Geri is pregnant - Oct 17, 2005
Geri Halliwell is pregnant with her first child, sources have claimed. The former Spice Girl is due to give birth to her much longed-for baby next year, according to the News of the World newspaper.
A source close to Geri - who is currently dating British scriptwriter Sacha Gervasi - told the paper: "Geri is thrilled to be pregnant. Although this is totally unexpected she can’t wait to be a mum. It’s the best thing that could have happened to her."
However, 33 year-old Geri’s relationship with Sacha is said to already be on the rocks after the couple were spotted having a blazing row last week. The source added: "Geri has grown up and is ready to be a mother. Not surprisingly, she’s very upset her relationship with Sacha hasn’t exactly gone to plan. But if she is alone when the baby arrives, then so be it. She’s a strong woman and will cope just fine.
Earlier this year, Geri - who has battled eating disorders in the past - said she was now ready to settle down. She said at the time: "If a guy was to meet me now, he’d find me a different proposition to a year ago. "In the past, in relationships, I’d lose a little bit of myself and feel a bit swamped and then I’d freak out and not want to be close." "I’ve changed dramatically. I’ve always thought my late 20s were like waiting to board a plane. I was in the departure lounge of who I really am."
Geri’s new name - Aug 05
In an attempt to boost flagging record sales by using the power of wishful thinking, Geri has changed the name of her company from Geri Productions Limited to the far more immodest Wonderful Productions Limited.
In another effort to try and get people to buy new album ’Passion’ Geri recently took part in a live web chat at her record company HQ before an audience of competition winners.

Geri?s album flops ? June 05
Poor Geri. Those nightclub and supermarket appearances haven?t been enough to prevent dismal sales of her latest musical offerings.
First, single, Desire, limps into the charts at number 22, and now new album, Passion, has entered the album charts at a not-very-impressive 41, having sold a mere 5000 copies since its release.
I think a lucrative Spice Girls reunion complete with greatest hits album is in order?

In the 1990s Geri became one fifth of the worlds biggest girl band and has never looked back. Along with Mel B, Emma, Mel C and Victoria, she scored some of the biggest hits of the decade, made a feature film and raked in the cash through sponsorship deals. But in May ’98 Geri made the shock announcement that she was to leave the band to persue a solo career.
She sold her Spice clothes to raise more than $200,000 for a cancer charity, journeyed to Uganda for Comic Relief, was appointed a Goodwill Ambassador by the United Nations, and even got to sing "Happy Birthday" to the future king of England, Prince Charles.
Nearly a year after her departure from the Spice Girls, Halliwell released her debut solo album, Schizophonic, whose sound is a self-described cross between "Julie Andrews and Johnny Rotten." The album, released on Capitol Records, contained Halliwell’s first single, "Look at Me." which went to number 2 in the charts. She followed up the success of Schizophonic with Scream If You Want To Go Faster in 2001. After going solo, Geri moved to LA, formed an unlikely close relationship with George Michael and told all to the press about her eating disorders after losing an incredible amount of weight and releasing two yoga videos.
