According to reports Colleen McLoughlin has been slapped by fiancé Wayne Rooney in a Cheshire night club. Onlookers say the pair were letting their hair down at Bransingamen’s night club in Alderley Edge, just a few miles away from their Cheshire home when they began arguing. Fellow revellers have told papers that Wayne ’grabbed her by the hair and slapped her,’ before she fled the club as he was held back by friends. Rumour has it the argument had something to do with those age old hooker rumours.

Coleen McLoughlin could be gracing the cover of world’s best style mag. According to Coleen’s spokespeople the eighteen year old is to grace the front cover of British Vogue.

Apparently the editor of the infamous magazine was so blown away by Coleen’s beauty and sense of style that she is now desperate to put the football fiancée in her publication. Reports suggest that Coleen will feature in a shoot by Robert Wyatt, the man responsible for recent Prada campaigns, however Vogue have yet to comment on the reports.

She might spend literally thousands of pounds every time she passes a shop selling velour tracksuits but it looks like Coleen is saving when it comes to keeping in shape. Snappers have seen Wayne Rooney’s fiancée taking trips to a £4 a pop council gym in her spare time. Meanwhile, Wayne himself has been spotted getting a £3 spray tan next door. Biography

The daughter of Tony, a bricklayer, and Colette, a nursery nurse, Coleen McLoughlin was raised in the rough Liverpool suburb of Croxteth. One of four children, she has two younger brothers, Joe and Anthony, and a sister, Rosie, who suffers from the condition Rett’s Syndrome.

Coleen met aspiring footballer Wayne Rooney at St John Bosco Catholic school where, she says, he pestered her in to going out with him by constantly asking ’are you gonna ring me?’ Their first date is reported to have been at the local cinema, where they watched Austin Powers 2. Although Coleen left school with a respectable ten GCSEs and aspirations to become an actress (she had starred in school productions of Grease and Bugsy Malone), by this time she had become something of a celebrity as Wayne became one of England’s most famous young footballers.

Tabloid excitement followed as Coleen shopped ’til she dropped, forgave Wayne an ill advised dalliance with a prostitute, accepted a proposal on a petrol station forecourt then threw her £46,000 ring in to the otter enclosure at the zoo. By the time she was 18 Coleen was one of the most photographed women in the country and her developing style had won her legions of fans.

Before long Coleen had no need to spend her boyfriend’s money - she had amassed a fortune of £5.5m of her own through sponsorship deals, writing her own column for Closer, modelling for Asda (whom she is also in talks to design a range for), and a deal to write her own book, Welcome to My World. Meanwhile she has challenged public perception through a presenting stint on Tonight With Trevor McDonald in which she spoke about Rett’s Syndrome.

Coleen, who lives in Cheshire, will reportedly marry Wayne in 2008.
