Charlotte's tackles Gavin on song - Mar 10 2008
Charlotte Church is apparently ashamed boyfriend Gavin Henson never sings the national anthem before rugby matches.
The Welsh rugby star - whose team are now one game away from a grand-slam in this year's Six Nations - never joins his team mates in singing Land Of My Fathers before each match, and according to the Daily Express Charlotte, 22, is not happy.
A source said: "Charlotte actually gets a bit embarrassed when the camera shows Gavin not singing.
"Obviously, she loves singing the anthem when she comes to matches to watch him and has told Gavin he should try to sing as well, as it looks a bit odd when the camera shows him all brooding and silent.
"But Gavin likes to psyche himself up before kick-off and feels he'll lose his focus if he starts trying to sing."
Charlotte and Gavin, 26, live in Bridgend with their five-month-old daughter Ruby.
Charlotte Church’s weight loss mission - Feb 13 2008
Charlotte Church is apparently on a mission to lose her baby weight.
The 21-year-old singer - who gave birth to baby Ruby in September - has been inspired watching rugby player boyfriend Gavin Henson train for the Six Nations and is determined to get in shape, according to Closer magazine.
A source said: "Charlotte was so motivated by watching Gavin, she’s started doing 30 sit-ups a night and is adding one on every time.
"She hasn’t let her diet slip and is looking after her body."
To boost her motivation to change her image Charlotte has had a new red curly hair-do, but she is said to be struggling to cope with Ruby while Gavin is away with the Welsh rugby team.
An onlooker who spotted her last week said: "Charlotte looked really different with her new hairstyle, although she still hasn’t lost her baby weight.
"She looked really stressed out and had her gran helping her with the baby."
The chat show host’s mother Maria, who lives an hour away from Charlotte’s Bridgend home, is said to be house-hunting so she can move to the area and help look after Ruby.
Charlotte putting baby first - Dec 17 2007
Apparently Welsh singer Charlotte Church is re-thinking her career and is considering a return to her operatic roots.
According to the Daily Express, the 21-year-old, who has now become a mother, is also delaying her return to the limelight and has yet to confirm whether she will do a third series of her chat show.
Her singing teacher Louise Ryan apparently revealed that the sensible songstress will not rush back to work as she doesn’t want her daughter Ruby to be brought up by a string of nannies.
Louise, who has taught the star since her Voice Of An Angel days, told the paper: "Charlotte was been asked by Channel 4 to return but she told them she had not decided yet."
The singing teacher was quoted as saying: "Charlotte and Ruby are joined at the hip and Charlotte says she does not want her new daughter looked after by nannies. She is concentrating on being a mum. In fact, Charlotte told me she wants seven babies."
And apparently the once fun-loving star is also considering a return to her classical roots - she has booked herself in for some piano lessons.
Louise reportedly added: "Gavin bought her a grand piano last Christmas and she told me how she wants to learn how to play it."

Keeping up with the WAGs...

Five years later and Charlotte was making a name for herself at local karaoke competitions, and then...
"I was watching the Richard and Judy show on TV and they said they were looking for talented kids. No-one was around so I phoned up," she says. "The producers said I had to sing down the phone. So I did ’Pie Jesu’ and that was it, I was invited on the show. Mum and Dad were the last to find out!"
This led to even more television performances, as well as high profile concerts at the London Palladium, the Royal Albert Hall and Cardiff Arms Park. "It all went a bit mad!" laughs Charlotte.
Now eighteen Charlotte has become a media icon. A ill advised relationship with ’model’ and all round bad boy Steven Johnson and on going arguments with her mother have put Charlotte very much under public scrutiny, but it has only made her more popular. Charlotte will turn her hand to anything these days, she presented Have I Got News For You? made a guest appearance on a dance track and even starred in a film, I’ll Be There. She is a chat show regular, openly voicing her opinions about fellow stars in a very down to earth way.
She may be one of the richest teenagers in the UK after coming into her fortune on her eighteenth but Charlotte Church is as normal as they come.
