"What the programme is displaying with such clarity is the deep ingrained racial attitudes of millions of white Britons in all its hidden nastiness.

"Big Brother has shown the unpleasant reality of us as a nation."

John kicked off chatshow - Oct 4, 2006
Racing pundit John McCririck has managed to upset yet more female celebrities.

He was kicked off the chatshow Loose Women yesterday to a chorus of boos from the audience, the Daily Mirror reports.

Just recently he was on our screens warring with former Tory MP Edwina Currie in Celebrity Wife Swap - and he was just as forthcoming with his opinions on Loose Women.

He described his hosts Coleen Nolan, Kaye Adams and Carol McGiffin as "gruesome" - and that was just the start.

After Carol called him "repulsive", he jibed: "This is a woman who has been sexless since Chris Evans kicked her out.

"Look at her - who’d want sex with her?"

He added charmlessly: "I’m available dear, but your breasts aren’t big enough."

Sharp-tongue Carol rejoined: "Luckily, I don’t know if yours is big enough."

But that wasn’t all.

John told the overwhelmingly female audience they were "bossy, domineering and wanting to change men".

As most entertainers would agree, infuriating the audience isn’t always a wise move.

Biography

Born in 1940, John McCririck is one of the nation’s most eccentric sporting commentators. Having worked as a bookie and a writer (both of which he admits he was not good at) McCririck was offered a job on Channel 4’s racing coverage, where his flamboyancy and ability to make every sentence he spoke near impossible to understand made him something of a legend. Having published a book, John McCririck’s World of Racing, and appeared on episodes of news spoof show Brass Eye, he has become something of a legend.

2005 saw McCririck display a different side to himself - an appearance on Big Brother saw him, quite rightly, branded sexist.  Not only were we introduced to his long suffering wife Booby, but his obsession with similarly named parts of the female anatomy.  Following his reality debut up an appearance on Channel 4’s infuriating Wife Swap John spent a week living with Edwina Curry, much to the nation’s amusement.  This was closely followed by an appearance on daytime chat show Loose Women, which saw him booed off of the stage.
