"Though the supermodel and her on-off beau called it quits in July 2007, they lingered on as a fixture in the press, thanks to their drama-heavy history and lurid antics," says Forbes.com’s Lacey Rose.
Victoria and David Beckham were listed in eleventh place.
"Posh and Becks remain a flashbulb favourite. The always stylish pair consistently garners interest from their kids, careers and celebrity pals," she adds.
Another couple that made the list were Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, who were tied in fourth place with Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher.
Brad to get museum? - Jan 9 2008
Is Brad Pitt going to get his own museum?
Rumour has it that the star is to be honoured with his own museum in his hometown state of Missouri. And if it’s true, then at least two Hollywood stars will be first in the queue.
"I would run tours. I would allow myself to be ensconced in wax. I would do whatever it takes to see that the Brad Pitt museum is a 100 per cent success," Ocean’s 13 co-star Don Cheadle joked to Extra at the Critics’ Choice Awards.
Meanwhile, George Clooney quipped that he would "pay a good $4.50 to go to that museum."
The museum would apparently be dedicated to the life of Brad, who was bought up in the town of Springfield.
Susan Wade, the PR for the town, is reported on Hollywood.com as saying: "Springfield is very Midwestern and family oriented. We’re glad to have Brad as part of our history and culture. In fact, we need a Brad Pitt Museum."
Movie stars help hurricane children - Dec 24 2007
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie used their star power to help the Children’s Health Fund focus attention on thousands of children left homeless after hurricanes hit the US.
More than 46,000 children are still displaced two and a half years after hurricanes Katrina and Rita destroyed their homes.
Pitt and Jolie have made New Orleans their home since the hurricanes and have been working to help the area recover.
"We’re focused on community building," Pitt said. "It’s not just about homes. It’s not just about building. It’s about the lack of focus on education and health care too."
Pitt has pledged more than five million dollars (£2.5 million) to Make it Right, a project to rebuild 150 homes in the Katrina-devastated Lower 9th Ward, one of the city’s most impoverished neighbourhoods.
A report issued earlier this month by the CHF found that 46,000 to 64,000 children affected by the hurricanes in the Gulf Coast of Louisiana and Mississippi were still at risk for a host of medical, mental health and educational problems complicated by a lack of support services.
Jolie said her work as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees prompted her to get involved with the effort.
"This is the largest displacement of children in my own country, so I want to learn as much as possible," she said at a news conference in New Orleans.
Jolie said that in her travels she has seen many children who feel defeated.
The difference here, she said, is that children "are feisty, fun and full of pride. They know where they’re going and what they’re going to do. It’s that kind of spirit that will help everyone get through this."

Following a stint in classic 80s soap Dallas he was given a number of more grown up television series including 21 Jump Street and Thirtysomething. Brad’s first staring role came in the form of Dark Side of the Sun, however during filming in Yugoslavia war broke out and it remained unreleased for several years. Now gaining regular film work the actor found himself suddenly noticed by audiences, albeit not for his acting skills, thanks for a bit part in Geena Davis movie Thelma and Louise. Cool World, A River Runs Through It and Kalifornia (alongside then girlfriend Juliette Lewis) followed and shot Pitt to worldwide fame.
From the mid-90s the small town boy from Oklahoma found himself gaining acclaim as an actor and recognition as a heartthrob too. Interview With a Vampire, Legends of the Fall and Se7en allowed him to flex acting muscle and before long he was nominated for an Academy Award (Best Supporting Actor for his role in Twelve Monkeys). Able to turn his hand to just about any subject matter he accepted parts in romance Meet Joe Black, Brit-flick Snatch and the bizarre Fight Club - which ensured Brad, who was becoming of increasing interest to the tabloid press, remained a force to be reckoned with in the acting world.
It was around this time that Pitt began dating clean cut television star Jennifer Aniston. Previously engaged to Gwyneth Paltrow the actor was no stranger to being one half of a high profile couple, however the Aniston-Pitt relationship saw public interest reach new heights. The pair wed in 2000, releasing just one image from the day, to much disappointment, but securing their position as Hollywood’s most perfect wedded pair. Despite talk of Brad turning his hand to architecture (a long-standing interest) and interior design to create a nursery in the Aniston-Pitt marital home, the creation of a production company, Plan B, together and even a bit part in Jennifer’s sitcom, Friends, the marriage wasn’t to last.
As Brad, now with blockbuster films such as Troy and Ocean’s Eleven under his belt, filmed his latest picture, Mr and Mrs Smith with notorious actress Angelina Jolie rumours were rife of an affair. The Aniston-Pitt marriage was reportedly already in trouble but it appeared to take just one look at Jolie’s infamous lips to send Brad running for the divorce lawyer. The rest is well-worn gossip page fodder.
In 2006 it was confirmed that Brad had adopted Angelina’s son Maddox as well as her new daughter Zahara. In the same year Angelina gave birth to the couple’s biological daughter Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt. They have since adopted another son, Pax, from Vietnam. The family divide their time between LA and New Orleans, where they are involved in the continuing effort to rebuild the city following Hurricane Katrina.
