The Spice Girls are secretly planning to reunite - Jan 16, 2006
The Spice Girls are secretly planning to reunite for a world tour, it has been claimed. Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Mel B, Mel C and Emma Bunton - who split for good in 2001, three years after Geri left the band in 1998 - have been organising rehearsal dates and plan to tour by the end of the year. The girls - formerly known as Posh, Ginger, Scary, Sporty and Baby - also hope to release a new single to coincide with their concerts.
The five girls have been motivated to reform after witnessing the massive interest in the recently announced comeback tour by ’90s boy band Take That. A source told the News of the World newspaper: "Everyone is working very hard to make it the comeback tour. "They’ve been taken by surprise by Take That selling out all their venues, so are going one better with a bigger tour." "The original plan was just one gig but everybody got more and more excited and the project grew and grew. There is now talk of Japan, Europe and the US but the dates are yet to be finalised."
Mel to dish dirt - Feb 05
Mel B is to tell all in book. The ex Spice Girl has reportedly signed a £1m deal to spill the beans on her former band mates in a book charting the rise and fall of the Spice Girls. The book is expected to reveal some very interesting facts about Victoria Beckham and Geri Halliwell, the two Spice Girls with whom Mel has had particularly stormy relationships. The publishers have announced that the book will be released towards the end of this year and will contain all the things you ever wanted to know about that all conquering girl group.
Mel’s web career - August 04
Mel B is planning to release new songs exclusively on the internet.
It’s another desperate bid to launch a solo career on the part of former Spice Girl, Mel who is unable to get a record deal. Reportedly bitter that she has been able to orchestrate a Spice Girls reunion and annoyed that she has been written off by record companies the Yorkshire lass has chosen to release a whole album of new tracks over the internet. According to friends she has been working on ’low-key funk tracks’ which will be available to fans later in the year.
Moaning Mel B - June 04
Mel B has lashed out at her fellow Brits.
The loud mouthed singer has annoyed UK residents by saying that their moaning led her to move to LA. Her outburst came on the back of criticism for her role in BBC Three drama, Burn It, saying "People in Britain tend to be so narrow minded. They can’t get over the fact that I want to be an actress now." So, Mel B moved to La La Land in search of screen fame.good move Mel.
Mel’s pay day - June 04
Mel B still wants paying for Simon Cowell’s X Factor despite being axed from the show.
The ex Spice Girl was dropped from Cowell’s new show over concerns that she would use the opportunity to relaunch her solo career. Sharon Osbourne has been asked to replace Mel.
Despite this the Leeds lass thinks she still deserves to be paid by Cowell, saying "we have signed an agreement, so he will have to pay me the full fee."

Mel moved to London in an attempt to break into the entertainment business. She answered an advert in entertainment publication The Stage, went to the audition and was selected because of her voice and good looks to be part of the Spice Girls who as we all know, went on to dominate the charts all over the world. Her up-front attitude and in-your-face style has won her a huge gay following.
Now more famous for her boob job (removed after leakage) and pierced tongue (removed when the hole got too big) than her musical talents, Mel’s post-Spice Girls career is in freefall and she’s now desperate to become a TV presenter before it splats. A former Spectacle Wearer of the Year who bites her toenails and detests all forms of salad, Mel says her ideal man would be ’zany’. Let’s hope she chooses more wisely than ex-husband Jimmy ’Gold Card’ Gulzar, her former backing singer who is said to have tearfully serenaded a close male friend with I Will Always Love You at their wedding. She is however the proud mother of baby daughter Phoenix Chi.
Mel B has boughgt her mum a home in Headingley, and to be even closer to her roots, Mel is considering buying herself a home in Alwoodley.
