What's it all about?
Family fun for folkies in a glorious seaside setting in Devon. Expect sing-a-longs, cream teas, dancing in the streets and picnics on the beach. Sidmouth is completely deluged for the week, with every conceivable venue being utilised for workshops, storytelling, dances, lectures and music music music. The ‘Young Sidmouth’ programme offers a range of activities for under 16’s, allowing the oldies plenty of time to make hay!

Fresh from his success at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, Martin Simpson grabs the Sidmouth headlines this year. Andy Cutting, John Tams & Barry Coope, Bella Hardy, Show of Hands, Lisa Knapp and Jackie Oates will also be appearing along with a host of others.
