What's its about?
Every year the tiny village of Cropredy near Banbury in Oxfordshire gets swamped by 20,000 folkies gathered together to witness the annual Fairport Convention reunion. The festival takes place across a series of numbered fields (number nine for the main stage, in case you are wondering) and several campsites. It all began back in the 70s and now the original festival goers take their kids and grandkids along. It’s all about the festival community at Cropredy, embrace and enjoy!
This year the line-up includes Supergrass, the Levellers, Midge Ure and of course Fairport Convention themselves.
Book now if you love: Foot stomping folk and merry making.
Don’t miss: The chance to spot your favourite acts at the bar – musicians and mere mortals mingle in the absence of a back stage watering hole.
