What’s it all about?
Lammas began in 2001 as a Pagan celebration, much to the annoyance of the local council. Luckily they are all friends again now and the council is on board, phew. There will be folk music, morris dancing, stalls, real ale, entertainment, a carnival parade, kid’s activities and erm… giants, all for free! There is also a Ceilidh on the Saturday night where Selwyn’s Marrow will perform. The festival raises money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
Book now if you love: Pagan vibes
Don’t miss: The giants – you can’t miss them!
