What’s it all about?
Rise is Europe’s largest anti-racist gathering and the Mayor of London’s pet festival. It has danced happily on the sun baked fields of most of London’s parks and this year will see the action moving north of the river, to Finsbury Park. The event is backed by the Trades Union Congress, National Assembly Against Racism and diverse community organisations.
Rise does sound a bit worthy, but they have attracted some cracking performers in the past including Graham Coxon, De La Soul, Common, Buzzcocks, Roy Ayers and Sway and the Wailers. This year there will again be a wide range of music, performance and other activities. There will be a main stage featuring big name acts CSS, Jimmy Cliff, Dub Pistols and lots ,lots more. There’s also six other stages; African Village, DJ stage, Underground stage and many others.
Other activities include the children’s play area, fair ground, food and drink, exhibitions and arts and crafts.

Can anyone help?"
