Update: Emerging from the cartoon underworld into the dazzling hills of Creamfields,
Gorillaz Sound System have just confirmed they will be performing at this years
event. Plus additions: Cut Copy, Freelance Hellraiser, David E. Sugar, The Clik Clik, Rich Rason, Tonn Piper and Brendan Long.

Update: The latest additions to the Cream fest are indie dance innovator Erol Alkan and leading hip hop DJ Switch. 

Update: It has been announced that the kings of dance, Underworld, join the tasty line up at Cream 2008. Renowned for their groundbreaking live sets and leading the 90’s dance revolution, Underworld have been penned in to lead the celebrations on Sunday 24 August.

Update: Cream have announced a vast menu of artists that unites rock and dance in the heart of Cheshire. Headlining 2008 is Kasabian, who are joined by the likes of Fat Boy Slim, Ian Brown, Roots Manuva, Paul Oakenfold, Sasha and Simian Mobile Disco. For the full, official line up visit the website.

What’s it about? Establishing itself as an international phenomenon on the festival and clubbing circuit, with events taking place as far a field as Brazil, Poland and Spain, the flagship festival returns to Cheshire for 2008 to celebrate it’s 10th Anniversary.

The greenfield site in Cheshire’s countryside will be a field day for some of the world’s best DJs and live acts. The schedule for 2008 is still in the pipeline with two offical announcements planned for Radio 1 on Friday 7 March. The first will be at 12.30pm on the Jo Whiley show and the second will be at 8pm on the pete Tong show.

Last year saw top performances from the likes of The Chemical Brothers, Groove Armada, Kelis, LCD Soundsystem and Mark Ronson to name a few.
